Composer, Arranger, and Founder of Budapest Scoring
Balint Sapszon is a Budapest-born composer, arranger, and founder of Budapest Scoring. After graduating from the prestigious Liszt Academy, he moved to Los Angeles in 2007 on a Fulbright scholarship to study Film Scoring at UCLA Extension.
Blending his deep experience in film scoring with close ties to Central Europe’s finest musicians, Balint founded Budapest Scoring to deliver high-quality recording services to composers and producers in Los Angeles and around the world. His daily involvement in LA’s film scoring scene gives him unique insight into the industry's needs and workflow.
Over the years, Budapest Scoring has contributed to hundreds of film, television, and video game projects—including Oscar-, Emmy-, and Grammy-winning productions. Their clients include industry icons such as Danny Elfman, David Foster, Bear McCreary, Lorne Balfe, and Michael Abels. The team’s credits span major Netflix hits like Squid Game and Wednesday, series like Outlander, Cobra Kai, and Star Wars, as well as blockbusters like Mission: Impossible and the four-time Oscar-winning Parasite.
An award-winning composer and arranger, Balint has spent the past 13 years building Budapest Scoring into one of the most sought-after destinations in today’s global film scoring landscape.
