Barbara Quinn

Barbie Quinn is Executive Director Administration & Publisher Relations at BMI, based out of the company’s LA office. She joined BMI 14 years ago and is part of the team responsible for the ongoing development of royalty payment policies and procedures for the use of music in audio-visual productions performed online, including emerging social media platforms. In this role, Barbie is also responsible for BMI’s music use reporting and television performance-related initiatives. In addition, she maintains and develops relationships within the music publishing, composer, and music production communities by answering inquiries and educating key constituents on BMI policies and procedures daily. Prior to BMI, she held senior positions at EMI Music Publishing and Warner Chappell Music. Barbie has served on the AIMP Board for 12 years in various capacities such as an Officer, chair of the AIMP Linda Komorsky Scholarship, chair of Events, and various committees.
