Kyle Rodriguez has quickly emerged as one of the most distinctive and innovative musical
voices in film and television today. Known for crafting vivid, emotionally resonant scores that
fuse lush orchestration and experimental analog textures, his music has appeared across
AppleTV+, Netflix, Hulu, Nickelodeon, Adult Swim, and at film festivals worldwide.
Kyle began his career assisting acclaimed composer Nathan Barr at Bandrika Studios,
contributing to celebrated series such as FX’s The Americans, Hulu’s The Great, and Amazon’s
Carnival Row. In 2021, he launched his independent career, quickly gaining recognition with his
score for April Maxey’s Work, a Sundance 2022 premiere highlighted by Indiewire as a
“must-see.”
Recent highlights include scoring AppleTV+ and BBC’s acclaimed natural history series The
Secret Lives of Animals, as well as the Emmy-nominated AppleTV+ adventure series Jane,
inspired by Dr. Jane Goodall. He also composed music for Paramount+’s hit reality series The
Family Stallone, starring Sylvester Stallone.
Currently, Kyle is scoring Big Break, the highly anticipated debut feature from comedy collective
Simple Town, named among Variety’s “Top 50 Most Anticipated Films of 2025.”
