Meghan Rose Scott
Composer, DOC
Meghan Rose Scott is an electro-acoustic cinematic composer based in Los Angeles, California. She has six years of experience composing music for media. She writes "hybrid cinematic" music: combining orchestra with synthesizers, guitars, beats, and effects. Meghan's music paints a detailed picture and evokes strong emotions in listeners.
Meghan earned her BA in Music Composition with a focus on electronic music from Texas Christian University. After attending various film scoring workshops such as the NYU Screen Scoring Workshop, she decided to pursue a Master's degree specializing in music for film. She graduated from Columbia College Chicago with her MFA in Music Composition for the Screen in the summer of 2023. Capped off with a full orchestra recording session and an internship with a working composer, Meghan moved to LA with enthusiasm and spirit. She is currently part of Jame S. Levine’s team at Remote Control Productions.
Some of her recent credits include the short film The Passenger, and the FOX show DOC.
She is excited to continue sharing her art.
