Beth Wisner-Jahnsen

Music Supervisor, Consulting, Publishing Administration, Yaamava Production Coordinator

Beth started out working in music studios and production over 20 years ago. Her
organizational skills were soon highlighted as she moved into the business side of the
entertainment industry. She enjoys working behind the scenes, reviewing legal
documents, music clearance, copyright, research and consulting. Beth has also worked
for ABC Television’s in-house music library, assisting with catalog organization, metadata,
PRO research, cue sheets, and more.
Beth and her sister, Dawn Wisner-Johnson, launched their company, “Take 2 Productions”
in 2005, where Beth worked as artist manager, producer, live show production, catalog
organization, and helping artists with legal contracts. The sisters launched the newest
branch of the company, “A Matter of Music” in 2020. Through their podcasts, online zoom
music review sessions, workshops and consulting, they’ve helped artists, songwriters and
musicians bridge the gap between art and commerce.
Beth is a California native, who grew up in several different cultures, including Malaysia
and the Philippines. She enjoys film and loves to go to the movies with her sons; mainly
seeking out premiere formats. They actually drove over 2 hours just to see “Star Wars
Episode 7” in a true IMAX screening. Her favorite part of being in the business is her work in
Music Supervision. From reading the scripts to handling clearances and cue sheets, she
enjoys it all. Beth also works in her “day” job, as the Production Coordinator at the
Yaamava Resort & Casino Theater, where she relishes getting to work with both
contemporary and legacy artists.
