Bryce Jacobs

Composer, Music Producer, Multi-Instrumentalist.

Bryce Jacobs is an Australian composer, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist known for
his hybrid approach to screen music, often writing, recording, and performing the core musical

elements of his scores himself. Blending orchestral writing with guitars, electronics, and song-
driven production, his work reflects a performance-led approach shaped by designing a custom

guitar built around the range of a piano (of his own design).
His credits span film, television, video games, song production, and streaming platforms
including ABC, NBC, SyFy, and Netflix, with projects such as 12 Monkeys (Season
3), Broken produced by Reese Witherspoon and Bruna Papandrea, and song production for the
Netflix series Daybreak. Feature work includes Bad Karma starring Ray Liotta and the
Sundance-featured documentary Drunk, Stoned, Brilliant, Dead: The Story of The National
Lampoon. Bryce also composed and performed the score for the ICON Pictures animated
series Yowie.
Bryce has worked with a number of major and independent record and publishing companies,
providing cinematic co-writing and production for both emerging and established artists, as well
as producing re-imagined versions of existing songs. His collaborators range from KT Tunstall
and Five for Fighting to Danny Elfman and Mark Isham.
Bryce moved to Los Angeles after joining Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions,
collaborating with Hans and Ramin Djawadi, and many of the composers there on projects
including Clash of the Titans, Red Dawn, Medal of Honor, Need for Speed: Shift 2, Rango, Puss
in Boots, Man of Steel, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Oliver Stone’s Savages,
and Ron Howard’s Rush, among others. Recent work includes an upcoming feature documentary
co-produced by Warner Bros. Discovery U.S. and SBS Australia, as well as music featured in
a Call of Duty trailer through Position Music.
Bryce is a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, holding a Bachelor of Music in
Performance (Guitar) and a Master’s in Composition, and is currently undertaking a Doctorate of Musical Arts, as time allows.
