

Susie Benchasil Seiter
Conductor and orchestrator: “Forgotten Island”, “Star Wars Skeleton Crew”,

Susie Benchasil Seiter is best known as a conductor and orchestrator for Hollywood Films and
television. She recently completed work as the lead orchestrator on “Forgotten Island” for
Dreamworks Animation. Other lead orchestrator credits include the “Star Wars Skeleton Crew”
series and “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.” She is also one of the busiest orchestrators in
games, working on “Towerborne” and “Hades” with longtime collaborator and recent grammy
winner Austin Wintory.
Parallel to her orchestration work, Susie frequently guest conducts in the Film Live to picture
genre, premiering shows for Disney Concerts all around the world, including “Sound of Magic”
celebrating 100 years of Disney at Blossum music center with the Cleaveland Symphony
orchestra. Other appearances include Sydney Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, San Francisco
Symphony, Chicago Philharmonic and San Diego Symphony with shows Frozen, Encanto, Coco,
Raiders of the Lost Ark and Star Wars a New Hope. She was thrilled to premiere Aladdin in 2024
with the Philadelphia orchestra and work on music by her mentor Alan Menken.
She co-composed the 2022 Netflix Series “Thai Cave Rescue,” a limited series dramatization of
the Thai Soccer team who became trapped in a cave in 2018. She called upon her Thai roots to
compose a hybrid Thai classical and traditional European orchestral score. The series was well
received worldwide and was number 1 at Netflix for several weeks.
Susie has also served as music director and conductor for Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling and
recently orchestrated and conducted strings for Evanescence’s upcoming 6 th album in addition
to touring the world with the legendary band.
She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and frequent collaborator Chad Seiter and their two
young sons Samuel and Willie.
