Ok Goodnight Releases Their Third Studio Album, "stop/go"

Ok Goodnight has just self-released their newest album, "stop/go." The album features ten tracks that are buoyant, yet hold great emotional depth, in a genre-blending mix of art rock, progressive metal, and alternative indie sounds. The album "stop/go" is now available to stream on major platforms worldwide.

With a powerful catalogue, millions of streams across digital platforms and a captivating live presence, Ok Goodnight has quickly established itself as a band to watch. Their third and latest album, "stop/go," explores themes of cause and effect, risk-taking, and the nature of free will, serving as a powerful expression of catharsis and acceptance. The band isn't afraid to delve into deep subject matter - the complexity of the human experience and a number of powerful emotions, hitting upon moments of fear, rage, joy, anxiety, and nostalgia.

The album's focus track, "Top of the Bottom," is described by the band as their most prog-metal-adjacent song to date. Throughout the track, Ok Goodnight ventures into darker territory than ever before, exploring society's enduring obsession with sin, self-hatred, and cult mentalities.

Accompanying the album is a striking black-and-white music video that reflects the song's atmosphere. Brought to life by experimental multimedia artist Wally Waliszewski, the visuals expand on the album's themes and add another layer of meaning to what the band has expressed through their music.

Ok Goodnight's Casey Lee Williams had this to say about the full scope of the album:

“By the end of the album, we’ve embodied true acceptance of the complexity of human nature and all of the emotions and concepts we’ve explored; we seek empowerment in the comfort of long-lasting friendships and all of life’s beautiful, unpredictable contradictions.”

That same year, the quartet introduced themselves with their debut single, "Rapture," before releasing their first full-length album, "Limbo." In 2023, the band's sophomore album, "The Fox and the Bird," earned widespread critical acclaim.

In support of their new album, Ok Goodnight will perform at Mad With Power Fest in the United States, Midsummer Prog Fest in the Netherlands, and a selection of club dates across Europe. The band will then return to the road to headline its third North American tour in 2026.
