Return to Dharma - Full Moon Global Music & Resonance Concert | Radhika Vekaria & Lynda Arnold

Updated: Apr 20

Radhika Vekaria and Lynda Arnold come together for Return to Dharma, an immersive Full Moon concert experience taking place at the Pico Union Project in Los Angeles. Blending global music traditions with contemporary sound design, the event features a collaborative performance focused on ritual, resonance, and collective listening.

Inspired by both Vedic and Celtic traditions, Return to Dharma draws from seasonal rituals associated with renewal, alignment, and transformation. Through live vocals, global instrumentation, and layered soundscapes, Radhika Vekaria and Lynda Arnold craft a performance that shifts between structured composition and open, meditative exploration. The program incorporates elements of mantra, rhythm, and improvisation, creating an environment that emphasizes presence, reflection, and shared experience.

The Artists

Grammy®-nominated artist Radhika Vekaria brings a multidisciplinary approach influenced by her British, East African, and Indian roots. Her work has been showcased at venues such as the Grammy Museum, Harvard University, and SXSW, and has appeared in outlets like Rolling Stone India, the Chicago Tribune, and NPR. Her practice centers on combining traditional Sanskrit mantra with contemporary compositional styles.

Joining her is Los Angeles-based artist Lynda Arnold, also known as Divasonic, a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and founder of the Sonic Devas collective. With more than 30 years of experience, Arnold’s work blends sound meditation, devotional music, and immersive performances, combining instruments such as the flute and piano with spatial sound design.

The performance also features percussionist and handpan artist Sidd Chitnis, whose background in Indian classical music informs a rhythmically intricate, adaptable approach to live collaboration.

Additional support comes from Juliet Lyons, a Billboard-charting vocalist and composer whose work spans film, television, and trailer music, including contributions to Disney’s Cinderella, and Sahara Khundmiri, a sitar player whose practice blends Sufi philosophy with sound-based performance.

Aligned with the themes of the May Full Moon, the event draws from Beltane, a Celtic festival associated with vitality, and the Vedic month of Vaiśākha, traditionally linked to restoration and protection.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, Return to Dharma presents sound as a shared space for reflection and grounding, offering an experience that moves between performance and communal ritual.

Designed as an open and inclusive space, the concert welcomes attendees into an immersive setting where listening, participation, and stillness coexist. Instead of a traditional concert format, Return to Dharma highlights a fluid exchange between artist and audience, creating space for both individual and collective engagement.
