Boston-based band Ok Goodnight return with their new single “22,” marking their first release since 2023’s The Fox and The Bird. The track serves as the lead single from their upcoming third studio album, stop/go, set for release June 12, 2026.
“22” touches themes of betrayal, loneliness, and reconciliation, centering on the emotional aftermath of a fractured friendship. Sonically, the track combines powerful guitar-driven arrangements with atmospheric synth layers and intricate production, reminiscent of artists like Turnstile, Paramore, and PVRIS.
The release signals a shift in the band's tone, introducing a darker, more expansive sonic direction.
Accompanying the single is a music video directed by Margot Budzyna and Christian Tasiopoulos. Set within a surreal, dreamlike environment, the visual follows movers as they gradually disassemble a room, reflecting the song’s themes of transition, instability, and emotional change.
With a catalog that has accumulated millions of streams, Ok Goodnight has established itself as a rising presence within the art rock and alternative space.
The upcoming album stop/go continues that trajectory, described as one of their most collaborative and fully realized projects to date.

Formed at Berklee College of Music in 2019, Ok Goodnight consists of Casey Lee Williams, Martín de Lima, Augusto Bussio, and Peter de Reyna.
Following their debut album Limbo and subsequent releases, the band has developed a sound that merges technical musicianship with emotionally driven songwriting.
Following the release of stop/go, the band is set to perform at festivals including Mad With Power Fest in the U.S. and Midsummer Prog Fest in the Netherlands, alongside additional European dates.
They will also return to North America later in 2026 for their third headline tour.
“22” is available now on streaming platforms. stop/go arrives June 12, 2026.
