UK-born, LA- and New York–based producer and songwriter Oscar Scheller reaches a new global milestone with his rework of PinkPantheress’ “Stateside,” featuring Zara Larsson, which has climbed to #1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart.

The remix also recently secured the #1 position on Spotify’s Global chart, marking a significant moment in Scheller’s growing international presence.
The track "Stateside" gained renewed momentum following its feature in figure skater Alyssa Liu’s Exhibition Gala performance at the 2026 Olympics, introducing it to a wider global audience.
Even prior to that moment, however, “Stateside” had already been gaining traction, driven by the combined reach of PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson, as well as the widely viral music video that quickly found its place across online communities.
The remix originated in 2025 from an informal studio setup in London. Working from vocal stems alone, Oscar Scheller rebuilt the production from the ground up, reimagining the original drum and bass foundation into a lighter, more bouncy electropop track. The result is a dynamic reinterpretation that balances rhythmic energy with a polished, melodic sensibility.

For those less familiar, Scheller has been a key collaborator in PinkPantheress’s creative circle since 2021, becoming one of her earliest and most consistent production partners.
His contributions span multiple projects, including To Hell With It (2021), Heaven Knows (2023), and Fancy That (2025), as well as several remixes on Fancy Some More (2025), including “Stateside.”
The continued success of these releases highlights the strength and longevity of their creative partnership.
Beyond his work with PinkPantheress, Oscar Scheller has steadily built an extensive and globally recognized catalog. His credits include Ashnikko’s “Stupid” (300 million streams), PinkPantheress’s “I Must Apologise” (300 million streams), and New Jeans’ “How Sweet” (250 million streams), each accumulating hundreds of millions of streams.
Additional collaborations include work with Lily Allen, Shygirl (four tracks on West End Girl), Arlo Parks, and Rina Sawayama, reflecting a versatility that spans alternative pop, electronic, and experimental spaces.
