On September 26th, we had the honor of hosting a beautiful For Your Grammy® Consideration event featuring Bettina Bush, Lili Haydn & Paul Cantelon, Get Lit Collective, and Nikhil Koparkar, each one campaigning in a different category.
Bettina Bush
Bettina performed a few songs from her most recent album, Once Upon A Rainbow, which is being considered for Best Children’s Album and Best Album Cover Art. Coming from a children’s media background as the voice of the beloved character Rainbow Brite and many others, Bettina Bush and her co-writers Bruce Vanderveer and Ebony Rae Vanderveer from InRage Entertainment came together to create a fun and uplifting album for the next generation of kids.

Lili Haydn & Paul Cantelon
Lili and Paul shared at our event some of their beautiful creations from their album Lullabies for the Broken Hearted, which is being considered for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance. The duo offered an intimate look into their personal lives through their music, reflecting on love, loss, and memory. After Paul’s wife, Angela McCluskey, passed away in March of last year, Lili and Paul composed this emotional album as a way to honor her life and express their shared grief.

Get Lit Collective
Poets Luis Javier Rodriguez, Samantha Rios, Jasmine Minchez, and MENDELEYEV performed their homage to the city of Los Angeles at our event. The Get Lit Collective’s album If I Awaken in Los Angeles is being considered for Best Spoken Word Poetry Album, and we had the honor of experiencing their powerful words live in the very city that inspired them. This album was written and performed by multiple poets from the Los Angeles-based nonprofit Get Lit – Words Ignite.

Written for the Amazon Prime series The Wheel of Time, Nikhil’s song quickly became a fan favorite. With its captivating storytelling and memorable melodies.
