There is no straight line when it comes to being a successful composer or songwriter. Everyone's journey is their own and as unique as they themselves are. From entering the industry as an intern or assistant to starting on projects you have sought out personally, the road is filled with its own tricks and bends. For this panel, we sit with composer / producer Nathan Alexander, as well as Neusha Taharian, composer and assistant to Scott Salinas, and Meghan Rose Scott, composer and assistant to James S. Levine, as they discuss how to navigate the world of assisting and other entry level positions, build your own identity, and break out into the scene.
